There’s a new round of Skills for the Future funding available through HLF, with a pre-application workshop being held in Birmingham on 11th July.
The Skills for the Future programme is focused on creating paid, high quality opportunities for new entrants to the heritage sector, and helping to sustain the heritage sector in the longer term.
HLF will give priority to projects which set ambitious and credible targets for the recruitment of trainees, with the aim of broadening the demographic profile of the heritage workforce.
This programme is something the Wildlife Trust for Birmingham and the Black Country have been successful with in the past. If you have a heritage asset and would like to know more, please download the relevant information from the HLF website or book onto the workshop.
